CONSULTATIONS – Consultees complete an application form and submit a request for a private consultation. Your submission is confirmed. I call, and we schedule a  phone conversation to determine if my expertise meets your presenting concerns. If we agree, a Zoom consultation meeting is scheduled.

Client-Centered Consultations typically focus on personal concerns troubling the consultee. Tailored, educational, and skill-based interventions emphasize strengths, reduce self-doubt and activate corrective resilience. If you need additional intervention, options for other services and referral to the appropriate professional type are discussed.

Practitioner Centered Consultations for mental health professionals and associates become a collaborative process focused on clinical issues associated with: safety, ethics and legalities, case challenges, intervention strategies, transference and countertransference, and downward spirals or breaches in the therapeutic alliance.

Forensic or Medical/Legal Consultations from Courts or Attorneys at Law for expert assessment and testimony regarding; Confidential mental health evaluation,  Forensic examination of evidence, Custody evaluation or custody mediation, Adoption or guardianship home study, Mental fitness, Domestic violence, Substance abuse.  A retainer is required; investigation, reports, and court appearance rates are $130.00 per hour. Members receive a 20% discount.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION is provided via one-hour Zoom sessions with ASWs and AMFTs pursuing professional licenses to practice psychotherapy. Associates must be registered with their state licensing board. Clinical supervision is a legal contract between parties; a one-year minimum is required. Third-party contacts are available for associates employed by non-profit or government agencies. The associate’s clinical caseload is the platform for clinical supervision typically focused on; Interview skills, Mental status examination, Differential diagnosis, Treatment planning, Therapeutic alliance, Transference and countertransference, Legal and ethical issues, Risk assessment, Privilege communication, and Reporting requirements. Preparation and readiness for license examinations are the responsibility of each associate. The supervision rate is $130.00 per hour. Members receive a 20% discount.
